This page describes how TraceForex ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website and services. It is maintained by the TraceForex team and is intended to give you a plain-language summary of our data practices.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, hashed password, display name and role.
- Manager verification data: MT5 server, account number and read-only investor password (used solely to fetch trade history).
- Usage data: pages viewed, search filters, unlock events and device metadata.
- Payment data: processed by our payment provider (Paystack). We store transaction IDs and receipts but never full card numbers.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the service, verify manager track records, prevent fraud, provide customer support and — where you opt in — send product updates.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with the following categories of subprocessors: our hosting provider, our payment processor, our email delivery provider, and our error-reporting service. A current list is available on request.
4. Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (for example, tax records).
5. Your rights

6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and a small number of first-party analytics cookies to measure aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
